Dr. Jill Vessey, MD

Dr. Vessey began her medical career in San Diego, where she earned her medical degree before completing her internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago and her residency at Mount Sinai in New York. She was originally board certified in Emergency Medicine and practiced in the emergency department for 16 years.

While emergency medicine provided invaluable experience treating acute illness and trauma, Dr. Vessey felt called to make a deeper, more lasting impact on her patients’ overall health. This led her to complete a fellowship in Integrative Medicine and transition into primary care in 2022.

Today, her approach to medicine centers on prevention, lifestyle optimization, and whole-person care. She believes that maintaining health through proper nutrition, movement, and sustainable lifestyle changes is foundational to long-term wellness. Whenever appropriate, she prioritizes natural and evidence-based strategies to support the body’s ability to heal, reserving medications for when they are truly necessary.

Dr. Vessey is passionate about partnering with patients to help them become the healthiest version of themselves and is proud to now be opening her own primary care practice
